Theory Gap
Theory gap is the gap or inability of a theory to explain a phenomenon, therefore the theory is then questioned.
The difference between the theory gap and the research gap is in the amount of coverage.
Once the sources of the problem are found, the researcher will begin to obtain many problems over a condition.
In order to make it easier to focus on the research, the researcher needs to formulate the problem first with a certain background, then narrowed down to formulate the research problem, then design the research itself.
Similarly, the process of stating the problem can be done for all sources of problems, whether the problem comes from field phenomena or from previous research or from established theories.
A research problem is a formulation of how a problem will be solved through scientific research.
After the research problem is developed, the researcher can detail how to solve his research problem by developing various research questions that will lead the researcher to conduct a literature review to develop his research hypothesis.
Research questions are questions that are deliberately asked by the researcher to provoke answers to the research problem.
