“I’ve always hated the phrase ‘pop-punk’.
I think it’s a contradiction in terms.
Either you’re punk, or you’re not. .” I always hate the term pop punk, I think it’s such a contradictory thing. You’re better off saying “punk,” or “not punk at all.

Of course, for a Billie or anyone who truly understands the meaning of Punk, this sucks.
Every music group has differences that are the spirit.
In fact, differences are important.
And ‘Pop Punk’, arguably, makes the differences in music genres narrower.
It cannot be equated with Rock and Pop Rock.
Music and idealism are two different things.

Idealism is raised, through several mediums, in this case, through music.
