Hello.
I started moving WordPress today.
Because I just got to know it at the beginning of 2018.
So as a fan of information and communication technology this is a funny thing.
None other than because I didn’t really like coding before 🙂
WordPress is a very powerful open application to help us create blogs/websites.
Based on PHP and MySQL, which is also an open application.
Because of its ability to be modified as needed, this platform is also used as a CMS(Content Management System).
Some sites that use WordPress CMS are CNN, The New York Times.
Matt Mullenweg, is the history of WordPress in 2002.
At the age of 18, Matt Mullenweg along with Mike Little and Michel Valdrighi (his partner) started coding WordPress.
And on May 27, 2003, WordPress version 0.70 was released.
Although Matt was a Drop Out student from his college, he managed to become a rich and successful young entrepreneur.
In 2007, he was named 16 of the “50 Most Important People on the Internet” by PC World.
WordPress provides two different addresses, WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
WordPress.com is a blog service site that uses the WordPress engine, like blogger and tumblr.
It is very easy and practical for general users.
However, the features provided are limited.
If we want to make modifications such as changing templates or adding plugins, we are required to subscribe every month.
WordPress.org is developer territory.
At this address, one can download the application along with all the WordPress CMS files.
Furthermore, the CMS can be tweaked as long as one is proficient in PHP, CSS and other accompanying scripts.
WordPress with Bahasa Indonesia exists thanks to the work of Indonesian contributors led by Huda Toriq, a medical student from Diponegoro University (UNDIP) Semarang.
I am currently using WordPress.org to learn the basics of website creation.
Maybe, for friends who have difficulty starting where to learn to make a website, you can try this one.
