Functionally, Intra is basically a DNS resolver application that protects users when accessing DNS; similar to the 1.1.1.1 application.
Virtual Private Network (VPN) itself works by encrypting Internet traffic and also the location of the service user.
So the user seems to be in the chosen location.
While DNS 1.1.1.1 itself only provides internet encryption, the location of the user is still the same as the original.
However, this turns out to be what makes this 1.1.1.1 application more profitable.
By not changing the location of the user, the 1.1.1.1 application can still respond to the server quickly, which is different from VPNs that use remote connections from other countries which certainly require a long transfer time.
Netflix Access
But another effect of Intra is that it can penetrate blocked sites.
This is because the government’s approach when blocking a site is to put the site on a blacklist.
This list is then used by internet service providers (ISPs) to block certain sites. Like Netflix, which is blocked by Telkom.
You can access it with this app.
Because Intra encrypts DNS requests, your ISP can’t see the site you’re trying to reach.
As a result, you can bypass the blocked site.
You can download Intra on the Google Play Store(link).
Meanwhile, the old version of Intra APK can be downloaded here.
After installing the Intra app, you can simply open the app and slide the toggle to the On position.
A confirmation box will then appear to create a dedicated connection path for Intra.
After pressing OK, Intra is active.
