FCCS (Fundamental Critical Care Support)

In accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 1778/Menkes/SK/XII/20010 dated December 13, 2010 that the Health Personnel Standards working in the ICU must have an FCCS Certificate and also the demands of health services (including services in the ICU) which are increasingly required to be of higher quality for patient safety.
For this purpose, adequate and universal but “up to date” basic service standards are needed.
The basic guidelines for patient care in the ICU that are universal and worldwide are the FCCS.
PERDICI, which is an organization/container of intensive care physicians (intensivists) in Indonesia who are involved in the field of intensive care medicine and FCCS course license holders, is responsible for achieving the above objectives.
With the FCCS course, participants are expected to have the basic knowledge and skills to be able to manage patients in the ICU up to date under the supervision of intensivist doctors.
In this FCCS course, the language used is Indonesian, while the language in the FCCS Textbook, pre and post test questions uses English.
