Cell phones are getting slower on purpose?

1 min read

Phones are getting slower and slower.
Is this intentional on the part of the manufacturers?
Here are some facts that may help you conclude.

  1. Operating system updates.
A new operating system will necessarily be optimized with new hardware.
Mobile phone manufacturers will not be able to accommodate all the hardware they produce to optimize on the new operating system.
So updating the operating system on your old phone could be a factor that causes sluggishness.
Although this cannot be generalized to all types of phones.
  2. App updates.
Applications are updated more and more frequently.
The more it takes up internal memory and ram, which leads to a slow cellphone.
Of course this depends on the internal capacity and ram of your cellphone.
For 2021, 2 GB of ram and 16 GB internal is irrelevant, and it gets slow quickly.
One year ago, this was good enough, right?
  3. Full internal memory.
In some types of phones, especially android, there are some junk files that cannot be cleaned with a cleaning application.
This garbage can only be cleaned through manual deletion through a file manager or opened through a computer.
The full internal memory factor can cause the phone to slow down.

Some of these factors are what often cause cell phones to become slower and slower.
The business factor is the main one, which drives the system update and app update factors.
Of course, to drive people to buy new phones, in the end.

So, do you think it’s all intentional?
