Bachelor of Applied abbreviated as S.Tr.
is a vocational degree given to graduates of vocational education programs at the Diploma IV level or often abbreviated as D IV.
The D IV program is a professionaleducation level(vocational education) which has a minimum study load of 144 semester credit units (SKS) and a maximum of 160 SKS with a curriculum of 8 semesters and a program length of between 8 to 14 semesters after Senior High School.
The Bachelor Program, hereinafter referred to as the S1 Program, is an academic education level that has a study load of between a minimum of 144 semester credit units (SKS) and a maximum of 160 SKS with a curriculum of 8 semesters and a program length of between 8 and 14 semesters after Senior High School.
Thus both are equivalent so that they are entitled to hold a Bachelor‘ s degree.
